📚 Grammar — Home & Family (집 + 가족)
1) ___이/가 있어요 — “There is / There are ___”
Used to describe what exists in a room or house.
| 방에 침대가 있어요. | There is a bed in the room. |
| 거실에 소파가 있어요. | There is a sofa in the living room. |
| 부엌에 냉장고가 있어요. | There is a refrigerator in the kitchen. |
2) ___이/가 없어요 — “There is no / There are no ___”
| 방에 책상이 없어요. | There is no desk in the room. |
| 거실에 TV가 없어요. | There is no TV in the living room. |
3) ___은/는 ___에 있어요 — “___ is in/on/at ___” (location)
| 책은 책상 위에 있어요. | The book is on the desk. |
| 신발은 현관에 있어요. | The shoes are at the entrance. |
| 고양이는 소파 아래에 있어요. | The cat is under the sofa. |
4) ___이/가 ___에 있어요 — “___ is next to / behind / in front of ___”
| 침대는 창문 옆에 있어요. | The bed is next to the window. |
| 식탁은 부엌 앞에 있어요. | The dining table is in front of the kitchen. |
| 옷장은 침대 뒤에 있어요. | The closet is behind the bed. |
5) ___은/는 ___해요 — describing people & home
Use adjectives to describe family members or rooms.
| 우리 집은 커요. | Our house is big. |
| 제 방은 조용해요. | My room is quiet. |
| 우리 가족은 친절해요. | My family is kind. |
6) ___하고 ___해요 — “do ___ and ___” (home activities)
| 저는 청소하고 빨래해요. | I clean and do laundry. |
| 저는 요리하고 설거지해요. | I cook and wash dishes. |
| 저는 쉬고 TV를 봐요. | I rest and watch TV. |
7) ___을/를 좋아해요 — “I like ___” (family & home)
| 저는 제 방을 좋아해요. | I like my room. |
| 저는 가족과 이야기하는 것을 좋아해요. | I like talking with my family. |
8) 우리 가족은 ___ — “My family…”
| 우리 가족은 네 명이에요. | There are four people in my family. |
| 우리 가족은 함께 식사해요. | My family eats together. |
| 우리 가족은 주말에 청소해요. | My family cleans on weekends. |
9) ___을/를 도와요 — “help ___” (family chores)
| 저는 어머니를 도와요. | I help my mother. |
| 저는 동생을 도와요. | I help my younger sibling. |
10) ___에 살아요 — “live in ___”
